Talking Cameraman Follies

Normally when one is videotaping an event he tries to stay out of the limelight.
I had my trusty HV30 rolling during a poetry reading. The lights were out in the audience as myself and one other camera guy were trying to get eh best angles. Silently. Until My shoelace caught something as I stepped over some sort of conduit. It was too late - I was going to fall very hard. Rather than break my neck I curled up, did a somersault over this thing and landed on my feet.
Nobody saw me.
I was like a ninja. Somehow the laws of physics were suspended and I did all in complete silence.

When I reviewed the footage the picture did a 360.

ROFL!!! Glad you didn't hurt yourself. Sounds like you got a neat shot. Too bad no one got the shot of your somersault!

This is really a great story and one must be careful while taking a shoot from the camera and must be vigilant enough at the surroundings, not just keep indulged in capturing the beautiful sights and sounds and forget every thing else.
