Elements 7 with PhotoShop CS4?

Finally picked up a camcorder (Canon HF S100) and now it's time to get some editing software.

I've always been pretty happy with Adobe's products so Premier is a top contender but I have one question regarding compatibility (and yes I'm going to download a trial also ).

I have Photoshop CS4 and was wondering if it actually integrates with Premier Elements better than other video editing software?

I've seen Photoshop and Premier Elements sold as a package but I have a full version of Photoshop and probably can't justify Premier Pro. Is it just a pricing benefit or are there additional advantages?

Thanks!

edit: Sorry, I didn't see that Elements had it own area, please move if appropriate.
